BIOGRAPHY - Caulyne Barron

Managing Director, Certification Board of Governors (As of August 1, 2008)

Mrs. Barron is Vice President, Online Programs at Dunlap-Stone University. She has extensive experience as a program director in the field of education and testing preparation.. For nearly eight years, she has worked creating policies centering on testing and certification standards, classroom management, faculty and other student concerns, with an emphasis on understanding the unique needs of those in the compliance industry.

Previously, Caulyne served as the Operations and Academics Manager for the Middle Tennessee Kaplan Test Prep (KTP), which prepared students for success on standardized tests.  She oversaw instructors, scheduling and day to day operations of the KTP Center. She worked with students to help them meet their professional goals, a task she still enjoys as the Managing Director of the CBG.

Her experiences also include serving as the Managing Editor of School-Age NOTES, a monthly publication centering on school-age after school child care and education.  She designed and edited monthly publications while also exhibiting at national conferences and maintaining professional relationships with other organizations.

She is a graduate from the University of the South, with a BA in Theatre and Anthropology. She also has completed graduate work at the University of Mississippi.
